So as any Friday Night Lights fan knows, the show narrowly escaped cancellation when DirecTV teamed up with NBC in an unique arrangement (episodes will air first on DirecTV exclusively, then be rebroadcast on NBC months later) that saved it for at least one more season. And while that is still fantastic news, it turns out not everyone will be part of the deal.
