I have not recapped Carnal Knowledge because my real life has had the nerve to get in the way of my television watching and recapping. Ridiculous, I know. Because that episode aired now three weeks ago, I’m just going to skip that official recap and do a teeny recap of it at the beginning of my next official recap (which will be for the March 16th episode). My apologies!
However, I will note that I didn’t care much for Carnal Knowledge. As the show pointed out itself, the Chuck plot was way too “Eyes Wide Shut”. Plus, I don’t like Chuck wandering around by himself — I like him interacting with the rest of the cast, especially Blair. As for the Dan/Serena/Rachel plot, I’m thrilled Serena and Dan are over because they suck the life out of each other. And if banging a teacher makes Dan less self-righteous and more human, I’m all for it. …I’m assuming Nate/Vanessa/Jenny were in that episode as well, but I think I blocked it out.
