Like your bachelors handsome, charming, and saddled with an adorable tiny tot? Then you’re in luck as Jason Mesnick has been officially announced as the next “Bachelor”!
While I would have much rather seen some of DeAnna Pappas’ other rejects, such as fellow Chicagoan Fred or even creepy-intense Jeremy get the gig, there is something to be said about Jason if you like your men overly earnest (I do not).
Jason will be in the hot seat come January. Will you watch? Will you apply? And will little Ty be whored out for ratings again? Only time will tell!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately… I just got back from a trip to Mexico, and hope to be getting new content up here over the next few days!

As any Battlestar Galactica fan knows, a prequel series called Caprica will begin airing late this year/early next year (depending on whether it’s picked up as a series) on Sci Fi Channel. While the loss of BSG in early ‘09 will devastate me, I have high hopes that Caprica will be a worthy successor of my love.

So as any Friday Night Lights fan knows, the show narrowly escaped cancellation when DirecTV teamed up with NBC in an unique arrangement (episodes will air first on DirecTV exclusively, then be rebroadcast on NBC months later) that saved it for at least one more season. And while that is still fantastic news, it turns out not everyone will be part of the deal.

So yeah… started my own blog. We’ll see how this goes. While I try to figure out what the hell I’m doing, I’ll be putting up some of my old TVgasm recaps of Top Chef (season 4) and Gossip Girl (season 1) just to have something on here. Enjoy!
